Information you give us
When you request the free 7-day movement starter, we collect the email address you enter, your optional marketing choice and the date of your request. The PDF becomes available immediately on the website; it is not emailed to you. The separate marketing checkbox is optional. We use your email for product updates only when you choose that option, and you can request removal or change your preference at any time.
Contact messages
Our contact form asks for your name, email, topic and message. When email delivery is enabled, we use an email delivery provider to send this information to our support inbox and reply to your request. Contact messages are not added to the marketing list. Please do not send payment-card details or sensitive medical information. You can ask us to correct or remove your message record, subject to records we need to retain for an unresolved support issue.
Why we use it and how to contact us
We use the request record to provide and administer the free guide and to honor your marketing preference. We do not sell email addresses. Contact hello@thebetterplans.com to ask for your email record to be removed, correct your address, or withdraw marketing consent. Future marketing messages will include an opt-out method.
Website operation and external services
Our hosting provider may process technical information necessary to serve and protect the website, such as an IP address and request data. Product images and videos are served from Etsy's media domains. When you follow a purchase link, Etsy or Gumroad processes your visit, payment and file delivery under that platform’s own policies. We do not receive your card information. Links to social platforms, Etsy and Gumroad may lead to services with separate privacy practices.
Movement video players
The video library uses Google Drive players. No Drive player is loaded until you select a recording. Selecting Play connects your browser to Google Drive, which may process technical data and cookies under Google’s privacy practices. This is separate from optional advertising consent. You can leave the player closed and use the rest of the website.
Advertising and cookies
Advertising scripts stay off until you accept optional advertising through our privacy banner. Your choice is stored in your browser for up to 180 days, and you can change it using Cookie preferences in the footer. Declining keeps advertising off; changing from accept to decline reloads the page to stop active advertising scripts. Ads remain blocked for unknown locations and for the EEA, UK and Switzerland until a certified consent management platform is configured. Where enabled after consent, third-party vendors, including Google, may place or read cookies, use web beacons or IP addresses, and serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to sites on the internet.
